Set within an imagined Oriental hammam, this self-portrait uses warmth, sensuality and theatrical lighting to explore physical presence and embodied desire. The figure stands confidently in the foreground, his torso rendered with dense, expressive brushwork that emphasises texture, heat and tactility. The warm reds and ochres of the skin contrast with the cool turquoise ceiling above, creating a dynamic temperature shift that heightens the sense of intimacy.
