This large-format painting unfolds along a winding forest path, where towering trunks and a canopy of luminous yellow foliage create a radiant tunnel of light. The composition relies on strong verticals—slender tree forms painted in confident, linear strokes—that contrast with the soft, sinuous curve of the road. Vivid patches of greens, ochres and cobalt accents flicker across the scene, applied with a brisk, broken brushwork that keeps the surface lively and tactile. Light is not simply depicted but performed: it vibrates through the leaves, diffuses across the earth, and pulls the viewer forward into the depth of the painting.
